Analysts manually downloaded pricing CSVs from multiple sources and built reports by hand every day — creating delays before next-day trading and limiting visibility into sector liquidity shifts, ETF performance, and watchlist momentum. The challenge was to fully automate this workflow with zero manual intervention while building in data quality validation so bad data never silently enters the warehouse.

Invalid records are quarantined automatically with reason codes, every run posts a structured Slack summary with row-level metrics, and the entire pipeline completes unattended in under 2 minutes daily.
