Hyper-Delivery is a real-time streaming analytics platform built for a quick commerce delivery company operating on 15-minute delivery SLAs. With thousands of orders, rider movements, and deliveries happening simultaneously, the business had zero live visibility into what was happening on the ground. This project builds a continuous streaming pipeline that processes every delivery event in real-time — giving operations teams an always-live view of SLA breaches, rider availability, and product demand as they happen.

Challenge

Quick commerce lives and dies by real-time visibility, you cannot manage 10-minute deliveries with yesterday's batch reports. Orders, riders, products, and deliveries were generating thousands of events per minute with no live processing layer. Operations teams had no way to see which cities were breaching SLA, which riders were overloaded, or which products were spiking in demand until hours later by which point the damage was already done.

Outcome

Hyper-Delivery processes four simultaneous real-time event streams, orders, deliveries, riders, and products through Confluent Kafka into Azure Databricks Structured Streaming, transforming raw JSON events through a Bronze-Silver-Gold medallion architecture stored in Delta Lake on ADLS Gen2. Gold layer aggregations surface live SLA breach rates by city in 3-hour windows, real-time rider fleet availability, and product demand rankings, all served through Azure Synapse to Power BI dashboards, with Azure Key Vault securing every credential end-to-end.
